The Baie-des-Chaleurs LGBT+ center is a space designed with the community in mind: warm, inclusive, safe, and tailored to the needs of people of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. Whether you want to chat, read, meet people, relax, or simply be yourself, it’s a welcoming place where you can feel at home.
Our library is a unique and ever-growing collection of books and documents related to LGBT+ and feminist issues. Novels, essays, comic books, children’s books, reference works… You’ll find works that inform, move, empower, and in which you can see yourself reflected.
Resources are also available on topics such as rights, health, queer history, trans and non-binary experiences, and support for young people.
You can browse the collection on-site, free of charge, in a quiet and welcoming space. To access the library, simply contact us in advance. We’ll be delighted to welcome you and guide you in your research or exploration.
